Lost my MFP motivation

Oh dear ..... oh dear!
I've lost my motivation. I started back to gym did 4 sessions then twisted my ankle. All this last week I haven't done anything yet lost a 1.5lb. I haven't logged at all I think I'm quite afraid to actually see on a diary just how much crap I eat! I love my sugar and I know it's not good for me. I know that cutting out my sugar intake helps me loose weight. How on earth do I get to that stage in my brain again where I walk to the fridge and walk away again without taking anything. Help me big time what stops you from eating the rubbish.

Cutting calories is what leads to weight loss, not cutting sugar.

It seems like you are over-complicating things and making this too difficult, which in turns leads to inability to stay on track.

Set a reasonable calorie goal (1lb per week loss is suitable for most, unless you are very close to goal, in which case adjust to 0.5 lb per week). This should give you a reasonable calorie goal that is easy to adhere to. Eat back exercise calories. Weight, measure and log everything you eat.

I enjoy self-reflective threads like this; you answered your own question. Write it down, eat it, log it, live it. Peace.
