new to MFP - 22lbs to lose

Hi everyone,

well I have finally decided to be a bit more serious about my weightloss. I am 5'6" tall and am 148 lbs. I put on fat during my pregnancy and managed to lose 22lbs, but due to house moves, new jobs and poor eating I put back on 15 lbs in 18 months. I guess now its cake weight rather than baby weight. Im a pear shape with defined waist and pre pregnancy didnt have any fat on tummy or hips. I now have a squishy roll of fat around my middle and big saddle bags!! my OH is not very impressed by my physique right now :-(

Have any other mums been able to shift their belly flat and return to a flat tum? i used to have defined abs, even if i did have a curvy bum, and would love to turn back the clock.

even though i know its not a huge amount of weight to lose, it still feels like an impossible task.

Hi there, please make me a "friend". I joined years ago but am only starting for real now. Yes, it's hard, but easier with support.

    Hi there,

I am here to ditch the baby 'wine and cake' weight too......I have about 14 lb to go, please feel free to add me! Personally my tummy is looking pretty good but fat is more stubborn on my bum!

Hard work and mindful eating will get the job done.......we can do it!!!!!!!!!

    Good luck x
