So, I am incredibly far away from any type of body that could remotely compare to a competitor, but I hope one day I could look half as hot as some of these people

Case and point: Bella Falconi. Her body is just ridic.

Stacie Tovar: Crossfit

I mean, COME ON

Anyways, what are some of my fellow lifter's body comp goals? Who are your ultimate dream body inspirations? Who do you think is just damn sexy?

All the lifting chicks who have kids and Dana linn Bailey. There are so many women out there, I need to do a mash up of people's body parts.

I know I dont have the same muscle insertions.
I want that amount of muscle mass in my body.
It takes years of hard work and effort.

That's why I love when women are like, "Oh I've been lifting for couple months, don't wanna get to0 big, I'm gonna stop."

I can pretty much guarantee that my hubby would not find me attractive if I looked like this(he's already said as much), but I can always dream. I have a special place in my heart for ripped upper backs on women.

I don't have any lifting inspirations. I'm just excited to see what my body will look like in the best shape of it's life. No matter what that looks like, that's what I want. I'm in awe of anyone who works hard to be healthy and look good.

Like women have balls to build muscle like us...lol. This kind of post dont get too much views because they know its really hard to achieve a body like this and the majority and just want to lose weight as quickly as possible. Most of them just see fitness as a tool to lose weight.

Would not want DLB's abs as much as Jamie Eason's, though, hence the pic of DLB's back. I have a special place in my heart for ripped upper backs on women.

I love DLB's back too. She has gorgeous arms as well.

Was this really necessary? What was the point of this? Some of us ladies DO really like this look. Yeah, it's hard to do, but so what? We can admire even if we don't necessarily think we can achieve it.

When I did my first round of lifting (which was GLORIOUS), the gains were so fast. I doubled my 1RM on my deadlift in 90 days. I have more genetic potential than most(my sister is a bodybuilder), but still. Beginner gains are SICK and super motivating. My sister is my inspiration. I will come back when I find a good picture.

As a guy, how could you possibly know how the majority or women feel about lifting and fitness? This entire comment is just ignorant.

Yes it was for me. The point of this was to express my feelings towards people who just see fitness as a tool to lose weight and not as a lifestyle. Ha! Very few . Many people say "Too bulky" "Too much" Im tired of it because many people give up on their dreams because of society puts pressure on them.

There's my big sister. She's much bigger than this now(these pictures are at least a year old), but I can't find any more recent. I would love to look like her, but I'm also much taller, which puts me at a disadvantage.

I hope she keeps getting bigger, though. I love inheriting all that Nike Pro gear for free when she outgrows it.

Wednesday night at the hip hop fitness class I go to (to get a break from strength training, ya'know ... ;) ) I was admiring another woman's physique - she had phenomenal arms, shoulders, upper back, quads, and calves. I asked her what she was doing in addition to hip hop and she told me a boot camp led by another athletic trainer. She was my inspiration! I am so stoked because I am starting to see a real difference in my shoulders, chest, and arms. My quads are noticeably more cut. It's easy to get focused in on just the number on the scale and start wondering if I should just be working on losing weight, but the physical difference I can see is worth the slower lose on the scale.

I know, right??? It gives me hope for myself that genetics will not hold me back. Granted, she got ripped easier than most(she admits this) because she's lucky enough to be 1) short, and 2) a "true" mesomorph(like, textbook example of how the body builds muscle and gains/loses fat). I am taller -- about 5 inches taller. Puts me at a disadvantage for getting gains like that because I could be as strong with nowhere near the same size gains. :grumble:
