To log workout, or to not log workout?

Hi :) I have been working out but instead of logging it in myfitnesspal under exercise i've just been putting it my status. I don't want to add it and then mfp adds extra calories for me to eat, do you think this is fine?

Also I feel like mfp gives me way too many calories... should I eat what I think I should eat or just stick to mfp?

Thank you for reading <3 Hope everyone has a great day!

I was thinking the same thing last night - that I had way too many calories left over at the end of the day - and then figured it out that it added the calories I had burned previously that day. So far, I've been going under my calorie allotment (1200). I did WW a couple years ago and followed their point system to the T and never lost 1 damn pound and was hungry ALL THE TIME. I feel keeping my calorie cap to 1200 and going under most days, if I do cheat, I've got room, so to speak. :)

Generally what I find is whatever your calories that you burn are, cut those in half and feel free to eat them in addition to your regular calories. That is what I almost always do and my weight loss is still steady.

It depends. What is your calorie goal set at? How big is your deficit?

If you're following MFP's program and recommendations, then you should REALLY follow it. The calorie goal that you're assigned is what you need to eat to reach your goals based on the information you gave the website. If you add extra exercise to your normal daily routine, you should eat at least some of those exercise calories back.
