Do Database and Recipe ingred. use different database?

When I try to edit a recipe I have and replace sugar with a SweetLeaf product (SugarLeaf), I only get two choices -neither of which is what I want. When I search the Database for SweetLeaf I get a ton of choices, including SugarLeaf.
This mystifies me. Anyone know if they use different databases and/or how can I replace sugar with SugarLeaf in my recipe?
Thanks.

I've found the same issue. I was trying to add Dole frozen mixed berries to a recipe and got choices nowhere near close.0

It seems that something has changed with the search function under the recipe tab. I am no longer able to find the ingredients I need, but found when creating recipes last week. It would be nice if they would pull the list from the one it uses when adding a food to the diary. I loved using the recipe function, but it doesn't work now.0

Yes, it seems there's no way to add an item to a recipe if it's not found in the Search box. Even if it is in MFP's Database. :grumble:0

I would be happy with even just being able to add the calorie counts manually for items not found in the database but that doesn't seem an option either.0
