Ready for Maintenance! How do I start?

I'm sure this has been asked a million times before but I can't really find the answers I'm looking for (hate the MFP search feature). For those of you who have successfully been on Maintenance for a while now, how did you make the transition? Should I slowly add calories and if so how many per day/week/month? Or should I just jump right into it? Also, I'm not really sure how to work in more calories. I'm almost never hungry when I'm eating at a deficit, in fact lately I have been finding it very hard to get above 1200 calories some days. I would really like to hear from people who have been there, done that. Thank you for any advice you can give!

Huge congratulations on ur weight loss! Best thing I think to do is find out ur maintenance calorie allowance and start upping ur cals 50-100 per week until u hit that allowance. I am doing it by 50 cals a week and I'm weighing frequently. If u up ur cals in small amounts it should be easy enough to eat, 50 cals is only a small apple a day for example. Good luck and well done again!0
