Weight Training For Dummies-Newbie Here

Hey Y'all! Soooo....I am super excited to start on a muscle building fat loss adventure....buuuut, I have a problem. I have never in my life used any type of weight machine(s) (all the machines at the clubhouse gym in my community are cable-and there is no squat machine/rack which highly disappoints me...haha), and don't know the first thing about how I am suppose to work my muscle groups/train my muscles. Do I use all the machines in one day (for all all muscle groups), or do I just focus on one group of muscles per work out? How much weight should I start with and how many reps x how many sets? How long should a training session last and do I do it every day? Where does cardio fit in? I know these questions may seem idiotic to some (maybe more than some?); but I wan to make sure that I do things right so that I get the best results. Bikini season is almost here
Thank you in advance for your time and feedback. Hope that all you RADICAL MFP peeps have a great day )))

They are not idiotic if you don't know or have never done.
strong lifts
starting strength
new rules of lifting
strong curves.
these are great resources for beginner strength training- I would highly recommend using an established program rather than trying to make one up.0
