Hi, im a bit confused.
By the time ive finished eating and filled in all my calories for the day i have a few hundred left.
When i add my exercise for the day (breastfeed, xbox kinect and walking) I have about 1500 left?
Surely this isnt right, i don't then eat all of that but am i allowed to?
I've had this amount for the last few days and not lost any weight

Yes, you are meant to eat them back (especially if you're breastfeeding) with the caveat that MFP's database and gym machines/kinect may overestimate certain activities.

Weight loss is not linear. You may not see a result on the scale right away. You need to give your body some time to adjust before you decide whether or not any routine is working.0 -
You are supposed to eat those calories back BUT be careful. Sometimes these calculators are very far off from what you actually burned. I've seen people log that they burned 2800 calories from a 2 hour hike. It's not likely that they actually burned that much on the hike.0
