How well do you log? Are your settings good? Macro tracking ok?
The latest version of the MFP Extractor and Trend Watcher now includes a score card. It can be downloaded from this blog:

It looks at your data and evaluates several parameters from the setup, logging, macro tracking and TDEE over the last 30 days to provide a score card.
These values are then added and you get a score.
What is your MFP score? Mine in 970. I think I can log better!

You also have to make sure when it asks you BF% that you type in the box: 27%, and not just 27. Hope this helps;)0 -

Awesome! Thank you. I had fun playing with this when I first started. I now have nearly four months of complete data to look at. Last time I tried it wasn't working for me, so I am excited to look again.0 -

Provides me with an overview of the last 8 weeks.
I need to up my protein still, but weight loss and cals are moving nicely as I increase my running miles and total burns.

Question about the MFP extractor but some background info first:
I workout at least 3 times per week...crossfit type workout. A couple of days a week, I also run a couple of days a week...3 miles each time. My job, however, is a desk job. I use the app UP to track my steps and also enter my workouts/runs thru MFP. I allow MFP to make the exercise adjustment. As of recent, I haven't logged like I used to, however, the problem I have happened even when I did log consistently.
The MFP extractor (which I love btw because I'm a numbers/graph geek) shows my observed TDEE to be 1103 +/- 110, my non-exercise observed TDEE to be 50 +/- 86 and my observed activity level to be 0.76. Of course, it says that the activity level seem very low.
Can you explain what I have done wrong in my inputs (other than not logging 100% of the time) to cause such a low TDEE?0 -
It's the not logging, I expect. The program might be assuming you ate 0 calories on those days, and that would dramatically lower your perceived TDEE.
This is a very cool toy. It didn't import my start weight correctly, but that was easy to manually override. Told me what I basically already knew (and am working on) - that I need to eat more protein.0 -
