Did I replace my muscle with fat?

For about 2-3 months I was able to maintain 125 lbs. I was doing P90x and did some cardio at the gym. I started off at 132 lbs before I did P90x. Then last month on April I had a terrible binging month. I ate so bad but continued to work out. I lifted and only did 20 minutes of cardio a day, 6 days a week. My weight went up to 128 lbs and I maintained the 3 lb weight gain for a month. It would fluctuate between 128-131 lbs. This month I skipped the gym for a week and started off at 131 lbs at the beginning of the month. When I skipped the gym for a week I was also eating much less so my weight went back down to 128 lbs. During that week, on the weekend I binged like crazy. I had a lot of sweets and ate at a buffet. It was 2 days worth of bad eating. I ended up gaining weight and went up to 132 lbs again which was my starting weight from the beginning all before P90x so I was really upset that I'm back at my old weight again. This week and last week I have not been consistent with work outs. First of all I skipped a whole week and this week I only worked out 3 times this week instead of my usual 6 days a week. Out of the 3 days I only lifted twice. I noticed that my muscles are starting to disappear according to my pictures. I feel like I replaced them with fat but my weight is back down to 129 lbs now. I've been eating less again but I stopped drinking protein shakes. I also noticed that my waist looks wider now compared to when I did P90x because I stopped doing the ab ripper x workouts for like a month. Did I replace my muscles with fat or did I just lose muscle? I need to get back on track....

It is impossible to replace muscle with fat, but very possible to loose muscle and gain fat. The thing about people who are in some kind of shape is if you stop working out and eating right you will loose some muscle tone which will slow your metabolism, this can happen quickly to a person who is in shape.
    Hope this helped.
