on mfp, to record your exercise but not have it add calories to your food diary? I know I can just ignore or not record the exercise, but I like having a log of the various exercises. I just don't want to eat back my calories as I am doing the TDEE method and a flat rate of 1516 calories a day.

You can override the calorie amount burned and enter it as 1. :)

I've seen people just enter 1 calorie to record the exercise.

Yes! I add in my exercise but put 1 for the calorie count.

I think there is a box on the exercise page where you can make notes.. maybe you could just record it there? Or you can 'create' an exercise and set it as zero calories so it doesn't how up as extra calories in your diary?
