I was laid off at the end of March but was lucky enough to relocate to keep my job. However It is 3 hours away from where I was calling home. This past month we lost my husband's father, moved, started working in a new place. (Where they keep free pop on tap and unlimited popcorn.) We have been going back and further every weekend for almost a month now. With the move and everything in the air, I got off my diet. I thought I was going to take a week off when we moved but that has turned into a month.

I have gained 8lbs back in less than a month. I don't want to get back on my diet. I know I need to. However I am enjoying not looking at calories and thinking of calories when trying to decide what to eat. I know realize how much I enjoy getting to that really full feeling. I know this will pass but its hard to start again.

Where do I start? Where do I find the motivation?

If you don't have a target, you'll hit it every time! Pick a reasonable (even a little low) goal. It has to have a date and it has to be verifiable (like a weight or a something you can measure). Write it out (get it out of your head). Tape it to your wall (kitchen?). Now point in the right direction every morning and GET TO IT! (Picture where you want to be on your goal date . . . it will be pretty cool to be there, right?)
