Right - I need to incorporate weights back into this! Help

So i'm running 10 minutes 6 days a week - How do i work out how much i need to lift to maintain or help muscle growth in my arms?

I have a maximum of 30kg on a Olympic free bar , how many curls should i do , how many times should i do it? When should i do it? Before or after my run.

I'm not sure what other information is needed to help me , but don't hesitate to ask me if you want more.

I do contact kick boxing 3xs a week. I have started the weight training program "Starting Strength" with my DH 2xs a week. I rest 2 days. There are a lot of programs. Pick one and go with it!
  • You're running 10 minutes a day? Are you also walking? I don't understand. Also, I'm a very small girl and I curl 30lbs. Maybe you need some more plates?

You need to do more then curls. Curls are like the icing on the cake that is lifting. I would do a total body workout 3x a week. A 5x5 would be best. Do you have access to a gym? Just an Olympic bar with a limited amount of weight will restrict your options quite a bit.

Some misunderstanding here. 30 kg is 66 pounds.

To OP, You do need more than curls. As for how many times, look for a good strength training program and adjust weight to fit.
