IF vs 6-8 regular meals

Hi all. I've heard eating every 2-3 hours raises your metabolism but i've also heard that IF helps with weightloss because you burn fatduring the fasting phase. Is there any truth in these statements? Or do u just stick with what your body wants?

    Timing is irrelevant. If you eat the same food in a 24 hour period, whether you eat it in 1 meal or 10 the end result will be the same. IF helps with convenience and appetite control for some. Eating multiple times per day helps others with their appetite. My advice would be to try it a few different ways and see which way helps you stick to your calorie goal the best.

    thanx for the reply. yeah, i'll try alternate between the two then decide.

    I find that eating smaller meals leaves me never feeling like I got my dinner. I much prefer two or three big meals.
