Overnight oatmeal

Oh my! I don't like oatmeal but while on Pinterest I saw the "overnight/refridgerator oatmeal" and thought, hey it looks interesting. So, I rush to the store and get me some old fashioned oatmeal, a half gallon of light almond vanilla milk and mix me up some oats for my breakfast this morning. I really dislike hot oatmeal, so figured I would gag on these.....NOPE, they are a slice of heaven! I made pumpking pie fridge oatmeal and it was delicious! I can't wait to try more flavors!

More working days than not, it's what I have for breakfast. Super easy to throw together before bed and ready to toss in my bag for work the next day. I usually add protein powder, greek yogourt, and frozen berries.

That's funny, I keep trying and I still can't get into it :(

Google overnight oats, there are a few sites with recipes.

I love this stuff! Usually the recipe is about equal parts oats, plain yogurt, and milk. I add a little less milk so it is less watery. I mix in jam, dried fruit, nuts, cinnamon, honey, etc.

I LOVE it. Mine usually consists of an empty mason jar....

    - 1 serving oats
    - one serving Danon Light & Fit vanilla greek yogurt
    - one scoop vanilla whey (Dymatize ISO 100)
    - 1 cup black coffee
    - cinnamon and a packet of Splenda
