After upping calories, what now?

Hello everyone!
I upped my calories a week ago with 125/day and I was expecting to gain weight at first but I didn't (which is great). The bad thing is that I only lost about 0.4 lbs and the past weeks I was losing 1.5 lbs a week..
My question is: is it because my body needs to adjust that I lost less this week?
And I'm well under maintenance still so I will have to upp even more to be healthy and I know that. And yes I weigh and track all of my food.
Thank you for answering!

I don't understand. If you were losing 1.5 pounds a week, you were a net weekly caloric deficit of 5250 calories. If you add in 125 a day, you are now at a weekly deficit of 4375, or 1.25 pounds a week. Only losing .4 lbs in a single week isn't a big deal, water weight fluctuations can completely mask a week's progress. I don't understand your question though: "Is it because my body needs to adjust that I lost less this week?" No... it's because you ate more that you lost less this week. Shouldn't that be obvious? You aren't going to maintain your rate of weight loss when you increase your food intake.0

One week isn't nearly long enough to determine a trend in your weight loss. I have weeks at a time that I don't lose at all and then I drop four pounds over night.0
