So I came across this great website that I have been perusing all weekend. It has a lot of information about different diet/weight loss ideas, theories and programs (including the food pyramid). It such a mix of different parts of the weightloss process (diet, exercise, advertising) that I thought I would share.
Some of the blog postings include: the launch of Diet Coke Pro - aimed at school children, Back to school food policies, Some is more, More is better, everything counts (exercise), Reading is more effective than running, etc.
www.weightymatters.ca. It is an opinion blog, but is written by a bariatric doctor here in Canada.

I'll have to take a look at that later on. It would be nice if more websites attempted to debunk common fitness and nutrition myths that perpetuate the minds of those trying to lose weight. After all, there is so much BAD information out there that sometimes it can be exhausting trudging through it to find the truth! I think my "favorite* myth that people believe is that lifting weights will make women bulk up. Nope, not at all. :happy:0
