brand new, and starting day 1 of p90x today!

Hi all! I am brand new to this site, and I am really excited to start my journey!
I'm 23, and 160 lbs. My boyfriend and I are starting p90x today, and are kicking off healthy new diets. I'm a recent college graduate and I'm ready to get my body on the right track with the rest of my life. My goal is to reach what I weighed in high school, 135.
My boyfriend weighs in at about 270. His goal is around 220. We have tried dieting before, but failed after a week or two. He has high blood pressure, and diabetes runs in his family, so getting him healthy is a main priority!

We've been dating for four years now, and we've eaten like crap pretty much the entire time! It doesn't seem like until recently that its caught up with us. I'm excited to make new friends and to be able to support others!

Also looking for advice from other couples trying to lose weight together, and other people using p90x!
