I've lost another 3 pounds this week, which should feel amazing right? Well, it does but I'm not sure how else I feel about it. I haven't really noticed anything looking smaller so I guess I'm just wondering whether or not I really have lost that much.

the best way to tell is to take a picture every 10 pounds or so. i have noticed a minor difference after almost 20 pounds. i have noticed that i may not be losing as much weight a week but the inches are coming off.

No way would I notice 3 lbs... but I do notice 10. Just have faith. You're getting smaller. Allow yourself to feel great about it. :)

You'll get there! 3 lbs here and 2 lbs there adds up! It's a slow process, but that's why it's going to stick. One time I lost over 50 lbs pretty quickly taking diet pills back when ephedera was still on the market. I felt great and thought I'd never put that weight back on again!! Slowly but surely it did come back on - all of it!! The reason is because I didn't learn how to eat properly from popping pills. It was a quick fix, and definitely NOT a permanent one. This time around I figure it's going to take me about a year to get this weight off. And along with way I am learning some pretty darn good habits of reading labels, portion control, and exercise. Next summer I'll be fit and lean and rockin my bathing suit on the beach - and I'll stay that way!! Don't feel discouraged - it will come off, and you will love the new you! :-)
  • I take measurements. I've lost over 10lbs and don't see it at all, but I figure I have to be losing inches as well. I mean, it's gotta be coming from somewhere lol!

Everyone is different, but in the past when I have lost weight, nobody notices until I lose at least 20 lbs, or at least they are not comfortable saying anything until then. Perhaps it is like being pregnant, no one wants to say anything until they are REALLY sure. I start to notice the changes in the way my clothes fit before I can see a difference, pants aren't as tight in the waist.

Remember the weight didn't come on in one day, it won't come off in one day either...
