Fitbit users: 430c logged, now it's 386c. Any ideas?

But I ate my lunch, logged my food.. the exercise calories I had burned from the gym (and some Just Dance 4) were 430 calories. Okay, cool. Come back maybe an hour later and the calories have magically gone from 430 to 386. I noticed it did that before once but I didn't think anything about it. If it's happened since then, I guess I haven't paid much attention to it.

I mean it's only a 44 calorie difference from what it was but never know if it could be more or whatever another day.

Have any of you that use fitbit notice that happening? And if so, did you do anything to fix it or figure out why it was doing it in the first place? I figured I'd post here first and if I didn't get any clear answers, ask the tech at the fitbit site.

I left a reply on your wall but will try and explain it better here.

Fitbit works on a daily projected total calories that it expects you to burn as it syncs during the day.

The more you move, the more it expects it will be, so you will see if you sit down for an hour after being fairly active, the next time it syncs, it will take calories off you.

It will do this to bring you back to a correct daily projected use.

If you have negative adjustments set in MFP you will lose calories from your daily intake.

If you don't have negative adjustments set. It will just reduce the calories you have earned from exercise.

It happens to everyone who uses fitbit. It's part of the fitbit program

Sorta discouraging when I get so excited to see a high number.. and then it goes down. But I'm glad I asked now so now I know.. The first time I saw it I thought I was going crazy.. "Oh I guess I didn't read it right the first time". And there was one time that I adjusted the numbers because I knew it was off or something.

    Glad I asked :)
