Hello everyone! I am delivering a presentation on losing weight in my public speaking class. Does anyone have any credible online articles or resources that they have used that aiding in weight loss goals? Anything from motivation, to diet and exercise?
I have my own personal resources but would love to know what people have used that helped!

Thanks :)
Alicia

Well of course MFP has been a GREAT tool to help! You get all the motivation, support, information, and calorie counting tool, all in one great place!

I love this website, so helpful! I need ten total resources, I have about six so far. There is so much out there on losing weight and staying motivated! :)

sparks people and exercise tv are great resources, also liveexerciseonline.com . I hope this helps
  • Hello!
I know you probably already have Weight Watchers but if you don't I would add it to your list. It's THE MOST sucessful weight loss program in the US.

Also, Body for Life is a good resource too. I have some of the books and it focuses on eating well but really more on exercise, (just my opinion) and it's not a program full of "gimmicks" and special diets although the books do have some diet plans you can follow. This reference might be good if you don't have a resource geared more toward physical exercise .(Not just eating habits).

Again, you have probably already thought of this one, but you could add Gold's Gym (or another popular gym) to the list and stop by and check out a location near you.

Another website I look at from time to time is SparkPeople. com. It's very informative but not as easy and friendly as MFP.

Maybe one of these ideas will spark something.
