So I just started doing my core again. And my core hurt for three days straight when I started but now when I do my core workout it doesn't hurt I mean hurt in a good way.
What are something's I can do to make it more intense?
My core workouts is this->
Fifty crunches with legs up
Leg lifts on the ground
Alternating on the ground right hand to left leg and left hand to right leg
In and out in the ground
Hanging leg raises on pull up bar
Oblique side crunch
Flutter kicks
Elbow to knee
Weighted crunch with 15lbs dumbbell
At first these were intense but now there not.
What can I do to make my core workout my intense where it feels like my core is just screaming the end help please?
I also squats etc.
I do one set of each btw

focus on really engaging the core and form ... make sure you breathe and core is contracted for every rep. V sits and hold it !! Also planks and side planks, you can you tube some tough variations.0

Plank exercises are great for core...Plank twists, mountain climbers, etc.0

If you're looking to gain strength you shouldn't be doing 50 reps of any exercise. Add enough weight so that 8-12 reps is all you can do (with good form)Leg lifts on the ground
Try Reverse Crunches on the end of a bench.Alternating on the ground right hand to left leg and left hand to right leg
Unweighted, useless exercise. Lose it.In and out in the ground
No idea what that is...Hanging leg raises on pull up bar
These are great if you're bringing your knees to you chest. Otherwise, all you're doing is working your hip flexorsOblique side crunch
Either use weight or do these hangingFlutter kicks Elbow to knee
Both worthless exercisesWeighted crunch with 15lbs dumbbell
Good if the 8-12 rep range is toughI do one set of each btw
Pick 3 exercises and do 3 sets of each e.g.....
Weighted Crunches
Leg Lifts (knees to chest)
Russian Twists (w/weight)
If you're doing heavy squats there's no need to waste your time doing an isometric exercise such as a plank.0 -
front squats....
over head squats
yeah- that'll do it
single leg KB/DB dead's- good for balance and core
turkish get ups- also good for core0
