Hows this for macros?

I got these numbers from IIFYM. Its for weight loss.

I am 5'3, 120 pounds, 25 yo.

Calories: 1472
Carbs:140
Protein: 120
Fat:48
Fiber: 24-30

The ones mfp set for me are

Calories: 1320
Carbs: 165
Fat: 44
Protein: 66
Sodium: 2300
Sugar: 50

I have another post asking this but it kinda got dead. I am new at this and bad at math so if anyone can calculate what my macros should be I would appreciate it a lot!

I am 35years old, 5'8.5" 239lbs and have the same numbers as you do for a 2lb loss per week according to MFP. I guess it's the height difference. It seems odd that they are the same though, so I am sticking around to see the answer.

Based on your weight I would try to get 100g of protein. Which is about .85g per LB of body weight. .4-.5g per LB of body weight for fat... so 48g sounds good. Then the rest of your calories should be from carbs.

    100g p = 400 calories
    48g f = 432 calories

If 1,472 calories is your goal, that means you should then get about 140g of carbs (640 calories from carbs)

Use this as a guideline though, as the most successful macronutrient distribution is the one that keeps you satiated throughout the day.
