I seriously need the advice and help

I've been on MFP for a while now, and I haven't gone anywhere. Tbh I haven't worked properly. I never maintained a proper diet or a proper exercise plan.
My friends on my list might have realized I tend to go on and off a lot. Basically I've never really stuck to it.
But now I seriously want to jump on the train with everyone and some day have a success story of my own.

I'm currently 5"4', 167 lbs, and my goal is 125-130. At 135 I'm going to assess and see if I need to lose more weight or if I'm good by then.

My problem is that I can NEVER get myself to get my bottom off the chair, or couch, or whatever it is I'm doing and get up and work out. I can stop my self from eating, I can eat the right food, but I just can't get up to work out.
When I do workout, I love it. I enjoy it. It's just getting my butt of the chair that I can't seem to do!

I have all my Insanity workout set up and ready, I just need some advise on helping me start.
I'm hoping that my own motivation will help this time, but I'm honestly kind of scared of Insanity, of any work out program, and I'm not sure why.

So anyone who's been in this boat before, please give me a piece of advice. Also I really don't want any sarcastic or offensive comments right now, I've seen it happen before on posts. The last thing I need is sarcasm, I have enough of it at home.

Thank you everyone

Insanity can be tough to get through without a strong reason for wanting to push yourself through it. You need to figure out why you want it. And that why has to be stronger than all the reasons for you to make excuses to skip workouts. Another idea is to set yourself some goals for getting all your workouts in, say for the week you treat yourself to a new workout shirt or if you improve on your fit test you get reward x. Make it your own.
  • I agree with Shelton that you really have to decide when your ready. Then when you get there and get into a routine everyday it will get easier. I have friends that ask me all the time how do you go to the gym everyday and i tell them that it is something i have come to custom with. Like it is fit into my everyday routine. Once you get it you will know.
Stay Strong and never give up. NEVER!!!!!
