haven't heard or tried it, but a good abs program on the floor can do wonders. 3 weeks into P90x and I could tell the biggest difference in my ab strength. I had similar results in college when I went to a 15 min ab class twice a week. Maybe get a couple good abs DVDs 15-20 mins each (i say a couple because the same one 3 times a week to me is BORING!) and use those. They require "no" space under the bed or in the closet and are probably a lot cheaper!

Yes, I recently purchased the Ab Coaster PS750 (the top-of -the-line home use model). It is not a cheaply built machine and many of the commercial-grade units are used in professional gyms across the country. It truly does work your abs. I am unable to do traditional sit ups due to arthritis in my neck and spine, but I am able to use this machine and get a great ab workout. I consider it well worth the money. There are deals to be had online if you shop around but be careful because there are imitators out there. You're better off sticking with authorized dealers or buying directly from the manufacturer. They do have a store on e-bay and sometimes have some refubished units available. I bought mine through fitness4homeonline.com and got a very good deal with free shipping and no sales tax. Maybe you could find a gym that has one that you could try out before buying one for your home. I did find one of the bottom-of-the-line models on display at ****s Sporting Goods and was able to try it there to find out if it would hurt my back (which it does not, I'm happy to say).
