Combined and progesterone only contraceptive pill

I've been on the combined (microgynon) for 7 years, I gained about 14lbs when I first went on it, which I wasn't surprised about, nor did it bother me at the time.

I've just had some worrying neurological symptoms so my doctor had taken me straight off of it and put me on the progesterone only pill (cezarette). Anyone have any experience of being on both types? Or experience of progesterone only? Are they really bad for weight gain?

I'm frustrated because I know I have to watch my health so I'm going to have to stop the combined pill which I'm stable on. And I know that I don't want to risk being pregnant so I have to go on the other which may hinder my weight loss :( yes hopefully only temporarily but I'm on such a right deadline with my wedding it's awful timing :( 13 weeks from now after my wedding I would not have been as annoyed as then I was planning for a very gradual weight loss with no specific target date so a small delay would not have bothered me as much!!!! :(
