Dumbbell Workout Suggestions?

Hey everyone, newbie here!
I was wondering who all has had good results from working out at home with a set of dumbbells. I can't afford to join a gym at the moment, and already have a set of modifiable dumb bells that can go up to 50lbs or so, so I figured this would be a good way to help create some muscle. I walk for about 30 minutes a day (so I'm getting some cardio in there), but I'd like to step things up and ensure I keep burning once I get home.
Does anyone have any reccomendations for routines, or youtube videos/DVDs I can find on the subject? My biggest concern is staying safe while I work out (as I already have crappy wrists and elbows) and not tweaking anything, so any suggestions you might have would be great!
Thanks!

Kelly Coffey Meyer DVDs are great. There is a modifier throughout so you can pick what applies to you.
This one is all about dumbbells (video clip)

fitnessblender.com.
Awesome website. Do you have a bench? 20-30lb dumbbell rows are pretty sweet (well for me - to some that is light).
Go to fitness blender and check out their videos.0 -
Are you on Pinterest? Just search dumbbell workouts, you'll find a plethora of good ones. You can definitely get into shape just using dumbbells.0
