How accurate are the hand held body fat calculators?

I just had mine measured when i signed up for the gym. i thought they were going to pinch me but they said just to hold this thing that looked like a video game controller.

Just wondering :)

    Body fat useful tools of measurement are Dexa scan, bod pod, and underwater weighing. I would take the video game controller body fat tool to not be accurate at all.
