I couldn't outrun my fork! I'm back!

I'm back. I'm back. Aaaaad I'm fat. I am training to be a Bikram Yoga teacher. I do yoga daily. But as the saying goes...ya can't outrun your fork. *sigh* How well I know this!

Each day I start out "ready to tackle this..." and as sure as clockwork I get tired and I'm driving between jobs and i stop for something hideous. ...

I bought an insulated carrier for food. I'm really uninspired so if anyone has any good ideas for carry along lunches or just any MOJO I would greatly appreciate it!

 I like your title! So welcome back!
As for what to put in your carrier, my favorite lunches are leftovers from the night before, but I also like to cook. Favorite easy breakfasts and snacks are flavored Greek yogurts, fruit, fruit with nutbutters (especially my homemade cashew, I weigh out an ounce), 100 cal containers of good mixed nuts, string cheese, a few olives. Not all of those in a day, of course! But always a couple. Diet frozen dinners are mostly Blech to me except for 2 or 3 lean cuisine pizzas. I grab a bunch when they're on sale. I hope you have a microwave you can use! For a while, I was keeping dark chocolate and having a small amount as an afternoon pick-me-up. I should do that again.

I also should do yoga again!
  • Thank you for your reply Magdaloonie! We have very similar overall goals. I'm around 170ish (buying a scale tomorrow--moved and left my old one in storage). I need to be around 130ish. Something along those lines. Anyway....

No. I have no access to a microwave during the day. i basically have to eat in my car. Oy! So, I am confined to cold foods. I don't care for microwaved foods other than popcorn, anyway.

    I must do this!!!
