Hello,
I have been trying to stick to 1,200 a day for 17days now and also have been doing 30 day shred (as can't afford to go gym) but I wanna lose body fat cos my tummy is still fat ???? I know you can't spot reduce fat but I the scales haven't moved since I have been logging my food and sticking to min cals. I really wanna get rid of my belly ????
Can anyone offer advice on what I am doing wrong?
P.s my food diary should be open if you need to have a peak

your food diary is not open.
People will say the following- are you logging accurately? -do you have a kitchen scale? do you trust the calories that MFP is reporting?
Have you noticed a difference in your form? Arms? legs? Try taking a picture of yourself before and see how you are each 17 days. Sometimes the scale is not a great thing to rely on.
feel free to do a search on MFP this question gets asked 5 seconds per each thread.0 -
Sorry thought it was open lol (just made it public now lol) will search it didn't realise you could search and it was asked so often as I never really come on the boards anymore. I have noticed a slight change in my arms as they are starting to look a bit more toned have hurt my foot now so have skipped the workout yesterday and probably today which is prob not gonna help????
Thank you for taking the time to reply though ????0 -
Try going on a low carb diet for a week and see how that feels. When I first when on low carb, my stomach got flat and was pretty much flat until I ate some carbs.0

I would change your macros around to 40% protein, 40% carbs, and 20% fat. This can certainly help you reduce your body fat more. Also, perhaps you need to eat some more calories/day. Give the new macros a try and if that doesn't work, try upping your calories to 1400 cal/day.
Are you pushing hard in your workouts, truly?

Yeah I am working as hard as I can on 30day shred I am sweating when I do it, but haven't done it yesterday or today as I hurt my ankle when I was doing it (thanks to my daughter who pushed her toy buggy in front of me and I slipped)0
