I'm running out of lunch ideas for work. I know there are a lot of websites that give ideas but I'd like to know what you take for lunch. I tend to eat the same thing all the time and it's getting boring!

Try making chicken breast with a dry rub (applewood, peppercorn, etc).0

I had some roast beef slices and a glass of chocolate milk. My 4 year old watched me make my chocolate milk with just a little chocolate syrup, looked down at her cup of real chocolate milk I poured from the chocolate milk carton and got sad. She said "Mom, that's not chocolate milk. It's more like cho-milk. You're going to be sad drinking that."
Oh, and 3 slices of spinach, tomato, and garlic pizza.0 -
Today I packed basmati rice (cooked with a water and broth combo and spices) with chickpeas and swiss chard.0
-
A salad. Iceberg salad mix (with the cabbage and carrots), mozzarella, bacon bits, and ranch.0

I tend to eat out during lunch...so my "go to" is a little local place that has a grilled chicken breast, bacon, Parmesan cheese, egg, and spinach salad that I put a little low calorie Italian dressing on. Runs me around 500 calories and good macro split for me for lunch.0

My go-to lunch! Low fat ground turkey seasoned with taco mix powder - mixed with fat free re-friend beans and corn, over lettuce, with a sauce I made out of blended avacado, plain greek yogurt, lemon, and garlic powder. very filling, yet light enough that it doesn't sit like a rock in your belly!0

I alternate the following:
1) tuna (plain, single serving pouch) on nut thin crackers (12-16 each), any two of: raw baby carrots, grapes and yogurt, apple or banana
2) flat bread with turkey, swiss and spinach (light condiments), same sides as above.
3) leftovers
4) soup
It helps that I'm the only employee here and boss eats fast food, so I can keep all the necessary groceries in the office fridge without fear of theft.
Yesterday I tried to steam veggies in one of those microwave steamer thingys. It was disgusting. I also tried using lettuce for my wrap instead of flatbread. It was pretty bad as well.0 -
3 grape leave wraps
2 individual hummus packets (tubs? pots? containers)
1 English cucumber (the hugggge kind)0 -
A sandwich - Tomato, mustard, mayo, lettuce, cheese, slices of lean turkey with Little Big Bread slices of bread. Tomatos make all the difference.0

I do vegetarian stuffed bell peppers. Usually two for lunch. Just rice with rotelle and parmasan and hot sauce stuffed and baked into a pepper. With the two it's 300-something calories.
I also do sauteed chicken sausage with onions and peppers. That one's a bit more at 500 calories-ish.
Also I'll do black bean burgers (two, sans bun) and a salad or some sort of veg for around 400 calories.
Fwiw my breakfast is usually very small (under 300) but I snack on clementines throughout the day.0 -
Today was a Special K whole grain porridge pot with some berries added, and an apple0
-
cottage cheese and fruit cocktail0
-
I usually make enough dinner the night before to have leftovers, so today will be a grilled tilapia with a balsamic vinaigrette glaze with sautéed onion on a bed of spinach; clocks at 229 Calories and absolutely delicious.0

Tuna fish and two boiled eggs0
