Hi,
In the last 15 months my weight went from 106 kg to 87 kg. I should be done in done in 6-10 kg. Why I post here is because I am looking for advice on how to end this weight loss in a good way, so I look good in the end, I am fit & strong and I am able to maintain this.
To describe the process; I've lost my weight by changing my lifestyle - I eat a lot of healthy foods and almost never unhealthy food. I eat more regularly and drink a lot of water. I feel great and I actually like the healthy food more than the unhealthy food I used to eat, it just tastes better! I am sure that this we be of great help me to maintain my weight.
Something that is also helpful for this and that I love to do: I've been exercising a lot the last year - mostly swimming, running and mountain biking. This has been very good for my leg muscles, which certainly grew a lot, but I fear my upper body has lost some muscle and could lose some more. So, this is my main concern. So I want to start to do something about that - I am thinking of doing some body weight exercises in my room and I also have free access to a good fitness center (a perk of being a student here). So, I am curious: how can I start this? I've done some fitness in the past, but not much, so I don't know much about it. How can I choose a good exercise regime? And can fitness help me to gain muscle while losing weight, or just to keep what I have now. I guess both are worth it.
My second question is about clothes - when did you buy new clothing? When you were totally done losing weight? I've waited long before buying new clothes, I only bought the bare necessities - I have two pair of pants, on shirt and a handful of T-shirts (you see I have to schedule my laundry well otherwise I'm without pants ).
I'm looking forward to read your responses!
PS some basic info:
SW: 233 lbs, CW 192 lbs, GW +/- 175 lbs, male, 27 years)

Incorporating resistance training is a great way to protect the muscles that you have. You most likely won't get bigger while losing the rest of your weight, buy you can certainly increase your strength. Plus, it's a great way to burn through body fat. If you're looking for ideas on how to incorporate resistance training, check out the YouTube channel for Tony Horton (creator of the P90X series). He posts tons of workout videos there.
