Recently there has been alot of changes in my home
People move out others move in dynamics and relationships change.
With that all of our eating habits have changed. I am settling into a diet that my 185lb 6'2 boyfriend has been providing while our other roommate is trying to keep her junkfood habits public.
All food in the house is for everyone, we've asked that if she is going to bring junkfood in to atleast keep it in her room or in the bottom of the fridge. Doesn't always work.
We cook alot at home or have special restaurants we like on specific days (Monday Mexico). We invite her to dinner, we make enough for her.
Is there a better way to have healthy eating habits without the social seperation?

That's a rough situation when trying to eat healthy. Unfortunately, if your roommate won't keep her food to herself, you may just have to deal with it being around. At this point, you need an strong WHY that will help you to pass on that food. A strong why will help you to overcome any obstacle. Why do you want these changes? What is driving you? Think on this for some time to find a deep-seated driving force.
Also having a great support group is highly beneficial to keep you accountable, a place to turn where people will encourage you and keep you accountable to your goals. I help to run support groups through Facebook. We have lots of people in there that are improving themselves and helping everyone else to stay accountable. We teach about proper nutrition and how to exercise. I'd be happy to chat with you about it if that is something that you're looking for.

I live with a 20 year old male and a 32 year old male (son/husband)
Why does the roommate have to keep her food hidden? Just curious.
When I buy groceries there is a wide variety of foods from fresh lean meats, fish, seafood, fresh fruit and veggies to oreo cookies and toaster strudles...heck last week I came home with 4 bags of chips.
The food bought is for everyone just like in your house...when I cook I make enough for all of us even tho my husband and son are not trying to lose weight...when my husband cooks it's enough for all of us...
Healthy eating habits are a personal choice and should not impact anyone around you...and the mirror of that other people's eating habits (healthy or not) should not have an impact on you either..0 -
If your housemate has paid for the junk food then you shouldn't be eating it anyway ... cos it's not yours!0
