Needing motivation and friendships

Firstly, I'm terrible at introductions. I'm guessing the best place to start is somewhere along the lines of; Hi, I'm Kim, and I'm 29.
Following a few bad years, coupled with a lot of comfort eating, my weight has ballooned, and where I used to be nine stone and happy with it, I'm now nearing the 13 stone mark.
I'm trying to regain my confidence, however slowly, especially as my family have taken to pointing out the fact I 'got fat' at every available opportunity.
I'm also looking for healthy recipes I can share with my six year old son, and just looking to make a few friends along my weight loss journey.

Thank you for the warm welcomes, both of you.
I'm lucky that my son is, unlike the rest of my family, prone to being a lot more considerate (his teacher actually complimented him on his kindness yesterday; said she's never heard an unkind word from him towards anyone)
35lbs is absolutely brilliant, Gemma. Well done. Good luck with the bridesmaid business.
I've made the shift from the usual tea, milk, two sugars to the twinnings fruit teas and supplementing my usual midday coffee for a bottle of water. Just trying to keep this up.0
