I know this may be too much of a personal question but did your periods become very irregular after or during your weight loss? I have had my period 4 times in the last 2 months....it's not really heavy just a enough to be a pain....it's screwing up my weight loss though because it's making me gain a few pounds each time (although I lose it once it's gone). I made an appointment with the doctor but I can't get in till next month. I really do not want to be put back on birth control though because that makes you gain weight......did anyone else have this problem?

Mine became irregular when I started exercising more. Well, not exactly "irregular", more like extremely light. I have been taking birth control for 4 years now, and I did gain water weight from them but it eventually went away. I am still on them and losing at a rate of 8 lbs per month. I take the pill, though, not the shot or implant. I would talk to your gynecologist about your concerns with getting back on them and weight gain. He/she might be able to prescribe one that will work best for you, if that is what you want.
ETA: I know I haven't lost 100 lbs yet, but that is my goal. Just thought I would put my two cents in.0
