Calories Burned

I wish there was a way to log your workouts without the calories you burned being added on to your calories to eat for the day.
I.E. I am allotted 1200 calories a day, but if I burn 200 I now have 1400 calories for the day. I don't like the thought of eating back my burned off calories as it seems counter-productive, so when I see these extra calories I almost always want to eat all of them back.
This being said, I don't like to NOT log my workouts because then I don't get that satisfaction of seeing the numbers being logged in.
Does anyone else feel this way?
