Just had a baby and need to get back in shape!!

I am 31 years old and just had my 3rd child. Weight is not coming off as fast as I would like it too. Any tips?

I know it sucks, but eat less, move more, and most importantly, be patient. I had my son 14 months ago, and I'm down 49 pounds. It's been a sloooowwwwww process.
  • I had my first baby in November and gained 50lbs with my pregnancy. I lost 20 right away after having her, then slowlyyyyy anoter 10lbs... but I just can't seem to shake this last 20 yet... which is why I joined this app. I can't believe how many calories I was eating!!! I thought I was eating healthy and boy was I wrong!!! I've only been doing this for a little over a week so we'll see how it goes once I get a little more dedicated. Good luck momma & congrats on your little one :)

Stick to a calorie deficit and get some exercise in. That's pretty much it. You don't even need the exercise but it certainly helps with weight loss and will obviously increase fitness.

Good luck! It's hard fitting in time for cooking healthy meals and exercising with young kids, I know. But make up healthy batches of food for freezing, take the kids out for a walk in the park / woods (a little carrier for the baby will be like a workout itself after an hour!).

    Breastfeed the baby. That helps

Be patient and focus on healing and being there for your child. It took me almost a year to lose my baby weight, but I know others who lost it faster. It's really subjective. Just be patient and consistent, and you'll get there.
