What do you weigh on your DL?

Ok, so I was at the DMV the other day (I had to take a new DL photo) and when it came time to update my weight I paused. Should I put my current (soon 2 be way to high-I hope) weight, my goal weight, or what? I don't want to be 150+ and put 120, but I am hoping to be at goal before I need to renew again. I have heard most people lie about the real weight on driver license anyway, so what do you have on your DL?

My new one will say: 140 (real weight as of this morning is 149.5)
Old one said: 125 (that was a big lie, even though I was 16 then I was 140+)

I would love to know your current weight and what your DL says you weigh...
:flowerforyou: thanks for sharing

Mine says 150, but I am 140! When I am done completely I will be 135. I don't know when the next time my license will be updated though. I just had it renewed in February...
  • My current weight as of today is 128.4
My D.L. says 120 from after I had my daughter, I was about 140ish (7yrs ago) I knew I'd be back to 120 and I was shortly after my second child in 04, held my 120 weight until just before I got pregnant with my 3rd when I got comfy w/ my hubby and gained 10, so 130 when I conceived and went up to 155 by my delivery day (Sept, 04, 08) Flectuated until April of this year and now am only 8lbs off from what it says on my d.l. (my goal weight) which also might change in the near future...funny thing is I just renewed my license yesterday, it expires on my b-day in 2wks and I had considered changing it to 115, but what's 5lbs?

I would think the best answer for that would be go with the number you've been at most of your adult years and if your serious about dieting goal weight is a good motivation too!!

Mine says 160 which is a HUGE lie, but it's because, they never asked me to update my weight when I renewed. When I got my first DL when I was 16, I weighed 175. I remembered that I lied by 15 lbs. Then I ballooned up to 220 (hooray for abusive boyfriends) because of stress and overeating, and when I got my DL renewed, about a year ago, they didn't ask me to update it. So I didn't. But, if I get to my goal weight, then I'd still only be lying by 20lbs on my DL. Not like the 60 lbs before, or the 40 lbs it is now haha.

I was honest on mine. It was over 200. I'm in the 170s now. Can't wait to update it when I get to my goal weight.
  • call me old fashioned, but I put the current weight at the time of the renewal.

Mine says 195, but I was around 206. I told the person at the counter that I was 200 and she put 195 and gave me a wink! so I had already exaggerated and then she took off another 5 pounds. My actual weight now is 181. My DL doesn't expire until 2013. I plan to be much lighter by then and tell the honest truth about my weight next time.

This is so funny because a couple of weeks ago "Oprah's" show was called "Are you normal?" There were a whole bunch of different ?'s they did during the show & audience had gadgets to record their answers & then it would tally & they also had nationwide results. One of them just happened to be "Do you lie about your weight on your driver's license". It was overwelmingly YES for both groups! Like in the 90-something %. I lie  but am hoping to have it true again, but then my hair color & style change as much if not more often than my weight!

LOL mine was a total lie!!! I put 175 when I got my CA DL back in 2000 which was after I had my daughter and I was WAY above 175. I haven't ever changed it but when I get to my goal weight I anticipated looking a lot different so I will have to get a new DL and will be truthful.

Mine says 180.... which is close to what I weighed when I got my DL at 17 (I was about 185-190).

I can't wait to update mine when I get into my goal range!

Mine is over 2 years old. I was at a low weight of 170. Today I am 167, which I believe is probably the lowest in 4 years.

They didn't ask when I renewed this year so it stayed the same.....20 less than I am.
