I just had a brain-wave: I am the chief cook at home, most of what I cook is made up as I go along and therefore I dont recall qty of ingredients used.
I just had a thought - if I were to put one of those small wipe boards - the type that go on the fridge for notes and shopping lists - next to the stove or prep area I can quicky note ingredients/qty as I go to enter in the diary later
