I always feed the beast when she arrives. It took more than enough of my energy to quit the chemical addictions I have (drugs, alcohol) that I'll be damned if I try to fend off Mother Nature. Maybe someone else can be more helpful. Best of luck!

    Are you staying hydrated?

Sometimes we're going to have days that suck - just get back on track tomorrow. Make sure you allow yourself a treat or two when it's Shark Week so you don't go hog wild.

    Don't beat yourself :)

Just eat something filling. Don't worry about going over. It happens. Make better choices the rest of the week, and it'll all even out.

It happens. Just catch yourself before you completely fall. Water, apple, veggies/hummus, popcorn are filling options. Day is more than 1/2 way over - you will make it!!!

Honestly, I usually just give into the craving (usually for some sweet and salty combo like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups or praline pecans). I find if I don't, and try to eat around the craving, I just end up eating more to fill the space of what I really want, then often end up breaking down and eating what I craved in the first place too. Obviously I try not to go overboard. Usually a couple of reese's minis or a handful of nuts will do the trick.
