Cheat time!

Today is my cheat meal day! And I am really nervous ( I know right! )
I might get a slap on the wrist for this but earlier this week I weighed myself and dropped five pounds ( this was not easy for me ) but lately I've been weighing myself every morning after I go to the bathroom before I put anything in my mouth and now I'm up 3 pounds ( I work out doing stairs five times a week ) I am guessing this is water weight.. And that's fine... But I have my doubts ( new to weightloss ) I guess what I'm trying to say is how does everyone deal with this discouraging number and still manage to have a cheat meal? Is this much water weight normal or is this actual weight gain? Should I have a cheat meal?

I've had the same experience, lost a couple of pounds and gained one back even though I have been very strict and regimented with weighing my food and working out. I've had it for about a week now and think it's a mixture of water weight and needing to go to the bathroom lol!
I would say to have an 'educated cheat meal', and don't go way overboard, but eat something that will put you close to maintain calories. That way it's sustainable and you won't feel awful about it.0
