canned carrots

So I bought some canned carrots for something easy to just grab and go on my way to work. So I grabbed a can and just saw the amount of sodium
If I rinse them will that help lower the sodium at all?
I know there wouldn't be an accurate way to measure the amount left after rinsing them but I'd feel a lot better about eating them if it helped.
