Fiber and Glucosamine

Hoping for some input from you guys on a few supplements I'm taking.
1. I take fiber gummies daily, I thought this was a good idea to help keep things "moving", but I've heard from some sources that they don't do anything too. Any opinions and/or sources either way; are these worth taking or worthless?
2. I also take glucosamine daily as well to help with my knee joint pain. I thought these we're working well a year or so ago, but now I'm not sure. Anyone have thoughts on these? Imp would taking more help?

I just googled on fiber and other nutrition questions today I don't know about the gummies specifically, but apparently fiber supplements are an adequate (but not great) substitute for real food that contains fiber. So try to get some broccoli, carrots, apples, and grapes into your fridge!
As for glucosamine, I take glucosamine-chondroitin...when I slip an forget for awhile I can really tell the difference. When take regularly, it does help me. But every person is different and you may need to see a specialist. Good luck!
