Hey there,

I've just recently started trying to lose weight, but I've always been too embarrassed to talk about it with anyone.

This site seems like a perfect place to connect with others that can understand how I'm feeling.

I'm a 20 year old female who let things get out of control.

Not too sure what else to say, but happy to be here!

    Welcome to MFP, it is a great place to do this. I am just over 70lbs down of a 100lb loss that I have been working on. Keeping connected with people on here who are going through what you are is important, the extra support when you need it is usually very good to help keep you motivated to reaching your goals.

    Think of this a change of lifestyle, it's not a diet, the process can be slow but it is very rewarding and as you learn better habits you will make better choices in the future.
