Hello!
Had anyone tried OA? I'm wondering what to expect.

Hi. I've been to OA meetings. They are based on the twelve steps of AA, except the principles are applied to food. The meetings I went to focused on food too much rather than what was going on underneath the food, so I didn't continue. It's just something you need to try out and decide for yourself.0

I think you'll just have to go and see the group. If you don't feel like it's the right OA group for you, you might want to try a different OA group. When I looked in on one, all of the ladies lookied like they were Senior citizens and quite overweight. I think the groups vary a lot. One of my friends has been very happy with TOPS (Take off pounds sensibly).0
