A bit backwards!

Why is it that we can pay so close attention to everything under the sun, the kind of gas in the car, laundry detergent we use, the clothes that we wear, but we don't think twice about crap we feed our bodies on a daily basis and what it's doing to all of us??? Seems a bit backwards...

Why do we care so much about things that are NOT important & not much about things that are?

I totally agree! Its funny that my DH and I are super into saving the environment with everything else in our lives, but will happily eat chips that have been flown from across the country! Or meat that has been filled with who knows what to make it larger! We are finally starting to pay attention to what we eat and it is so much better!

Good point! When our clothes get old and worn out, we get new ones. When the car breaks, we replace the broken parts. But we all only get one body, so why do so many of us run it into the ground?

I used to not care. Now the people @ my local farmers market know me by name! :-)

Half of what we eat it local, organic produce.

It hasn't always been that way though...

EXACTLY! Our bodies are soooooo much more important than anything else we've been given! :-)
