Female, 32, 5ft 1, 28lb to lose.

Right now, I walk a lot, which is my main exercise. I would like to do some more toning exercise, at home as I will be doing it in the evenings when my kids are in bed. I don't have much space in my house, or much money to spend.

I've lost weight before, and loved the way I looked, but alwasy felt I needed to tone up to look really great - I would like to strat that process now, rather than wait until I've lost weight!

I also have a very low protein diet, and struggle to hit my targets in this area. Will this make it harder for me to tone my muscles?

I have no idea what you mean by 'lift heavy'. How can I do this at home?

Lifting heavy means that you are lifting weights...that are heavy enough that you can only complete about 5 reps.

this can be done at home if you have the equipment at home which is typically a weight bench, plates, barbell.

Or you can do resistence training, google convict condition or bodyweight exercise.
