Hi

Is anyone following a vegan 80/10/10 diet? how is your results? how much weight did you lose in a month? I am thinking about doing it but I need a little info first.

Thanks.

My question is why are you concerned about how much weight to lose in a month? Regardless of what diet you're on, there's only so much weight you can loose (healthily) in a month. This is a pretty extreme diet, I would not recommend for someone just trying to lose weight quickly.

I've heard of that... Thing is, you need to make the diet a lifestyle for it to work because if you are only doing it temporarily, going back to the way you ate before will only make the weight come back. It's good for detoxing though and to make you go to the bathroom more!! :) As for me, I personally have been eating tons more fruits and vegetables ever since I read into that (mostly vegetarian but I never restrict other foods), along with strength training/a bit of cardio, and although I have not lost any weight, I still do see good results--particularly a smaller waistline and more toned body. It's only been two weeks too...

However, restricting to one specific (somewhat extreme) diet will surely lead to some type of vitamin/mineral deficiency in the long run. That being said, if you really want to try it, you can but add foods every now and then that provides the nutrients that the diet is missing. Don't follow what others say blindly; instead turn the diet fad into your own "diet" by making it more balanced in nutrients. If that makes sense. :)
