Getting Healthy, Gaining Weight

Hi! I'm one of those rare girls who is trying to gain. At my healthiest weight, I was a freshman in college with a food buffet and a gym at my disposal. This summer while working at a nursery, I was exercising so much that I had amenorrhea and hair loss.

I just want to weigh enough to be able to give blood and not pass out! Being skinny can be dangerous. I just wrote a blog entry about why, but here is the list:

- Light Headedness
- Easily Drunk
- Lethargy
- Reproduction
- Low Vitamins
- Osteoporosis
- Stomach problems
- Sour mood
- Low immune system
- Bad skin
- Anemia
- Organ problems (worst case)

I love myfitnesspal because I can track my exercise while making sure I get enough calories to compensate and still maintain a healthy weight rather than losing.

Is there a reverse ticker for those trying to gain? :) Good luck.

Nope, there isn't a reverse ticker. Even if they used the "x lbs to go" one as a ticker that would work!

I'm fine with it, though, because I love the simplicity of the site how it is.

    Thanks for the hello everyone!
