Probably a stupid question but is it okay to use just a little cooking spray instead of oil when grilling? Or is it just as bad?

    neither is bad.

what makes you think they are bad? you shouldn't cook certain things in certain oil, but it's a far cry from being bad.

you can buy different kinds of cooking spray, including butter, olive oil, vegetable oil, etc.

I use olive oil in a Misto sprayer. Cooking sprays seem to gum up my steel pans. I've noticed most places count a single spray as less than 5 calories.
